Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! Relief!
I feel so much better today. It was so bad yesterday, and it really only got worse up until I got home and watched The Amazing Race. I love that show. I wasn't dissapointed that the team who lost was eliminated. The big guy was irritating me.
My friend Nancy just asked me if I've ever seen "Cinemania". I have, if we're talking about the same movie. It's about these people whose whole lives revolve around going to see movies. Some of them are truly nuts. It was interesting, but sad. Worth seeing. For some reason, it made me think of a movie that I truly don't find similar in any way, but one that I expected to be hugely depressed by. "Best Boy" - have you seen it? It's such a beautiful documentary. There was a follow up to it made 20 years later called "Best Man" - I recommend that as well. Ira Wohl did these documentaries on his mentally handicapped cousin Philly, who was living with his parents in Brooklyn. Philly is so cool!! You can't help but love him. Ira is a compassionate, strong person who steps in and convinces Philly's immediate family that it's time for him to interact with other people and to eventually try to live on his own, in a situation where he'd get the support he needs. It's lovely. Very emotional and very special.
God, how wonderful it is to not have pain. I could barely walk last night! Now I'm just taking it easy and I'm grateful to feel like myself again.
I hope all of you are feeling good today too!

Well you said you love 'em and welcome them so here's another comment or a have you seen this movie???It's called The Testament, and don't worry I'm not a Jesus freak ....it's with Jane Alexander and a very young Kevin Costner and Rebeccah Demornay (you know the one from The Hand That Rocks The Cradle) and it's post-apocalyptic...it changed my life, I'm sure I appreciated my babies and my LIFE so much more after having seen it....I remember bawling and hugging my family A LOT....It got to me especially since I saw it during a mild case of Post Partum depression....so if you do happen to watch it, which I really recommend, do it before you have your little girl....And thank you wishing that I feel good. I feel like you really mean that....I'm adding you to my favourites, by the way....
