hello there...

yes, it's been awhile, and right now i only have a few minutes, but i really wanted to post.

the problem did not go away like we thought. it got better for a few days, and then it was back to brutal. we did end up trying the soy, and after a rough transition, our baby is doing so much better now. she's right now sitting in her swing, smiling at the fish going around her head, and cooing. unbelievable.

she's 7.5 weeks old and is scheduled to have her vaccinations next week. i'm nervous and sweating it. she's already had the one shot, and that was bad enough. now it'll be 4. yeesh. plus i'm scared of what's in those shots and what they might do to her - from a fever to god knows what. but i have to protect her, right?

so let's see...what's new? well, the unabomber must really like us because she hasn't complained at all about the screaming and crying. i have to say that i was worried about it, but instead she told me that she thought of coming by to see if i needed any help. she's still battling with the neighbors, but it seems much better now. maybe she's on medication? i hope so. i'm still keeping her at arm's length.

i have to go. this cooing is killing me! i have to pick her up and kiss her a zillion times!! :) take care!

Woot! Kiss her an extra gazillion for me! :]

About those vaccinations....rites of passage and all that. We had 'em and we're okay/not stricken w/polio. Thank God and Jonas Salk. I had to hold Pop-pops arms down and lean over him while he had his. His daddy couldn't do it. We're strong, Ali, we can handle it. We Have to be strong for our babies....we're all they've got :0)
Plus: that's how they learn. I got me one strong mutha, let me tell you!
