I want to talk about other stuff, not just this amazing little peanut baby growing in my belly.

I love movies. I love different kinds of movies, and I don't know if it's fair to say I'm a movie snob because I can have fun watching some that are just not super artistic or have a major statement.

I can't stand Tom Cruise anymore. The arrogance of this guy is truly ridiculous. I hope he rethinks his stance on psychiatry because I really think he could use some, particularly now that he's got a new baby on the way. Silent Birth my ass. I'd like to see him squeeze a baby out of a tiny orifice and be silent. The guy is good looking, he used to have some real acting chops, and I think he's gay. So what?? Who cares? He's in his 40s now and I'm pretty sure most of his female fans know they won't have the opportunity to sleep with him, so why hide the gayness? I really really don't understand it. I'm not saying that he should come out and reveal his personal life to the world (especially not in a couch jumping type of way) but why enforce this lie? Does he really think we a) care, b) believe him?

I rented War Of The Worlds from Netflix (my addiction/obsession) because I was curious about it yet didn't want to support the Brooke-basher. Plus I've had some issues with Mr. Speilberg's work of late. I mean, can we do SOMETHING without an alien in it? I mean, have you guys seen The Color Purple? Schindler's List? Great films. Truly truly great. And no aliens Steven!! I think you're a little obsessed, but that's okay. I love you forever for ET. Anyway, I got War Of The Worlds and we watched it on Sunday night. Halfway through, I got this weirdawfulyucky type feeling and realized that I was going to actually throw up. I got up, ran to the bathroom and proceeded to wretch (I apologize). I could hear my husband, in his thick Italian accent, saying "Baby, is this the morning sickness, or is it Tom Cruise?"

Yes, I started in with the morning sickness. The weird thing is that nothing actually came up. I guess that'll start soon. My throat was killing me for about 24 hours after this. Man, was I lucky up to now!

But when I came back out, we finished watching the movie, and it was fun. I think Dakota Fanning is so good. So was the kid who played Tom's son. All in all, it was very well done and really scary. We had alot of fun watching it.

Afterwards, we tried to watch a Pasolini film. My suggestion is that if you're going to watch an alien ridden action film, don't follow it with an Italian art film. These two just don't blend.

I ended up feeling pretty lousy the rest of the night and watching "Family Bonds" - the entire first season since they were on HBO on demand. I thought it was a great show. I liked Tom Evangelista very much. I heard some very troubling rumors about family problems which I hope are not true. I was looking online to see if they're doing a season 2, but apparently not. What a shame. If you get the chance to check it out, please do. Tom runs a bail bond office and therefore is also a bounty hunter when need be. I was grateful to have something that interesting to watch until 4 in the morning. Pasolini just wasn't cutting it.
