I'm so broke. It truly sucks. But it's temporary, at least! I guess it's something I'll have to get used to in a major way!

My cat is whining and whining at me. He's 19 and he has trouble getting up and down from the place where he eats (he has to eat up on a shelf so that my lovely, graceful and eloquent 15 year old dog won't devour all his food) so he tells me when he wants up, when he wants down.I'm just happy he still loves to eat as much as he does! His name is Bill, and my dog is Jane. Can't wait to see what their reactions will be to the baby. They've had me pretty much exclusively (well, shared me with one ex-husband and one current husband, along with other cats through the years) to themselves, so this will be interesting.

I miss taking pictures. I'm so in love with my camera, but because it's a film camera, it costs a fortune to get everything developed. I have a wall up at my job where I have photos of everyone on my floor and other folks throughout my building. Occasionally there are artists who come by to see my boss or other people and they are all drawn to my little office and they love checking out my pictures. R Kelly calls it the Wall Of Fame, even though it's totally not about them, it's just about us. Anthony Hamilton came by today and was loving it. They both said there's so much love up there, and there truly is. When I first came in with the camera and asked a few people if I could shoot them, they were a little uncomfortable, but said okay, and once I started, it became really fun and the pictures are pretty incredible. Then people started coming to me and asking me to shoot them! I should study photography and see if I can actually do anything with it.

I'm gonna log out now, check out "Last Days", a Gus Van Sant movie about Kurt Cobain. Heard it's terrible, but I have to put myself through this anyway.
